This is the first time I've invested in high quality knives, and I wish I'd done so sooner. These knives are SO sharp. I thought I was just really bad at cutting this whole time, but turns out I just needed better knives!!

These knives are simply incredible. At first glance, I was drawn to their sleek, attractive design—a true blend of style and function. They feel even better in hand than they look, exuding a quality that you can immediately sense. Straight out of the box, it was evident that they were sharper than any other knife I own, so much so that I was afraid of washing them!I put them to the test with some scallion pancakes, aiming for very thin slices. The result was astounding; the knife sliced through effortlessly, turning a typically tedious task into a breeze. They managed to slice so cleanly that it felt like cutting through butter. Their impressive sharpness does demand respect and careful handling, but the performance is unmatched.These knives are not only effective but also beautifully crafted, making them a standout addition to any kitchen. Whether for everyday cooking or special occasions, they perform splendidly and look great while doing it. I am both terrified by their sharpness and utterly impressed by their capabilities. A top-notch choice for anyone who values precision in their kitchen tools.
I ordered the VENDANA style of these knives because I love the look of the design. The received knives are sharp, heavy weight, and well balanced. Although I am thrilled with the design, it does create a different feel in the hand with the void in the handles and this may not appeal to all. To me this design element in the handle removes this from the category of a true chef's knife. I did not remove any stars from the rating because this is exactly what I selected and I think it is very modern and stylish looking. The void in the handle also adds to the necessary cleaning time as you have to get in that empty space to properly clean the knife.
